Yank - BMR claims that "(The mount itself is adjustable up and down to allow easy "instant center" adjustment.)"
2 questions. #1 - Does your piece offer the same adjustability and #2 - What exactly does that do for you. Is it just about the Pinion angel or is there more to it? What does that do for your Instant center? Thanks for the help, lata, Arkangel77

We found that there is one location that works well for the m-6 and one for the a-4 in our testing, and you can get way off base in the traction area if you do not know how to set up a suspension
Remember we have been producing these f- body crosmembers for 5 years now!
This is not a new game for us.

SO what is that ONE setting? are you saying yours come with Only ONE option and are not adjustable?
Again can you explain what it does to the Instant center when you mount it higher or lower?
Thanks for the Help, Lata, Ark

as to the adjustment we have found the best location for each style
you have limited space for adjustment as the torque arm will hit the floor pan if moved up
you adjust pinon angle at the rear or torque arm.

thats been preadjusted by testing.
Our orgnial had adjustments, but the new style does not.
As it is pre set if you want our OLD design we still have some in stock!
You can not go higher that our setting as the torque arm hits the floor pan
and lower gives less hit on the tire
this has been tested for 5 years on our part

I would definatly want the NEW style Unless the OLD style is supa cheap? Thanks for the reply, Like I said I am slow so thanks for covering it again for me. Lata, Ark

The hop can be the flex at the torque arm mount bracket, they flex under load as does the trans mount itself
with this system the torque arm is held in place with no movement other than piviot on it's front mount, that is higher in location to transmit more load to the body
so I feel that it will help your hop condition.
I have tried LCA brackets and not had much luck as they need to be welded to work and there is still some flex in them
