is it possible to deleted 2nd gear through programming??
is it possible to deleted 2nd gear through programming?? My car has no 2nd gear, it shifts form 1st to drive, & drive to 1st on the downshift. Im afraid the trans is messed up, but is it possible to have the car not shift into 2nd through programming??
What are yout trying to do, is this for city traffic driving? This can be achieved by adjusting the 1 -> 2 Shift Speed and the 2 -> 1 Shift Speed, both based on %TPS, to a higher value. Or, since your's is a 2001 F-body, just put the selector in 2nd and it will not use 1st gear.
Im trying to get 2nd gear back. We tried adjusting the speed for it to shift into 2nd @ 11 mph and that didnt work. Im just wondering if there is another setting we missed or if the trans 2nd is actually fried.
