Default Tranny Cooler Install Help

Just wondering if any of you guys have any pics on where you guys mount the cooler. I have not brought one yet but I want to know how big the space it to mount it then get the biggest one possible! How big are the coolers that you guys are running? If you can put the brand of cooler you have, how big it is gvm, and where you mounted it!

Thanks so much

I don't have any pics. I mounted mine low and centered
on the A/C condenser / radiator stack. It was the biggest
Hayden that Pep Boys had on the rack. I routed the soft
lines through a little rectangular cutout that is by the
bottom corner of the radiator. I used slit pieces of vacuum
hose to keep the sheet metal edge from chafing the hose
for the cooler. I put my cooler in the hot line before the
radiator though most folks seem to go the other way.

If I were going to do it again I think I'd put it in the hollow
space between condenser and radiator. Though that would
rob effectiveness some, when the A/C is on.

Here's how I mounted mine. Word of advice, don't use the lines provided in the kit. They leaked after year. I got some replacement lines at Autozone and they seem to be a better hose.

I run two Hayden coolers, stand alone, and it works great.

Perma-cool makes it. You have to fab up the brackets yourself - Ironworker fabbed up a couple of trick brackets for me - to mount it.
