Just what we all need ,another converter to decide on. <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" /> Anyone running the slp3300 or Y3300?

The SLP 3300 is built by Yank but Yank doesn't offer that converter; it's exclusive to SLP.

It is primarily a street converter with performance gains similar to the Y3000. I would expect .4 - .5 at the track with it.

It's a pretty killer converter...kind of a tame ST 3500. I highly recommend it.

The SLP 3300 will feel looser on the street compared to the Yank 3000, but it will accelerate much faster (lighter weight), it will have higher shift extension (9.5" vs. 10.5" size) and it will be much quicker from a roll for all the reasons listed above. The Yank 3000 is a nice step up from stock, but the SLP 3300 is a true performance converter.

OK I think I almost have this figured out.How about the slp3300 compared to the SY3500,with and with out 3.73s and the Y3000 with 3.73s? I like the way the yank web site describes the y3500 for the Vette and Impala ss top end racer to out pull a manual trans. Does that mean from a highway roll?

SLP 3300 will be a bit tighter than a SY 3500.
