locking torque converter?
What goes into locking a torque converter? Is it difficult to do? I am asking about a stock converter. Is an aftermarket one any different to lock? I'm asking about this for dyno purposes.

. give me a little while (getting another car in a few weeks), but i never got to try locking my multi-disk up on the dyno or during a run. with MY particular setup i don't think it'll benefit me during a run though.
to lock it up with hptuners, i would guess you would have to put in some absurd #'s in the tcc lockup/mph table, so it would lockup and not logically unlock after-say- 110mph. try a search on hptuners.com for details.
on the dyno is the same idea, mess with the correct tables and replace certain values with absurd ones and- viola!- it won't unlock.
