I have talked to PI on numberous occasions but no help from them.
Guys with the 2800 don't seem to have this problem.
I installed a Ed Wright tuned PCM yesterday. No more problems! knock on wood
If you are looking at a Vig 3600, I suggest getting a TP-4400, it's consistantly proven to be a better converter.

But with a little work and real slicks you'll be hitting 1.5 60's depending on the track. this is Ryan Jackson by the way...you rode im my TA with the 3200 stall.

the shifts are a little sloppy under light driving. but at WOT it runs like a charm...
it may not have the top end like the 4400 yank(ask wilwaxu) but it isnt that much of a difference..
wilwaxu i still wanna rematch from a 50 roll again lol

I ran it on my stock motor and again with the heads/cam set up.
Stock it stalled to 4200 and on the mod motor it stalled to 4400.
With the Yank you will 60' as well or better than the 3600 Vig and out MPH the Vig by a good bit. (everything else being equal)
It is loose... but no looser than the 3600 Vig.
But If I do go w/ this converter.....Wouldnt it flash over 5000? Thats insane. Wouldnt this make my car no longer daily driven?

When you order a Yank, it will be built to your engine specs. So, you can have a 4400 built to stall 4400 with your combo.
FWIW, you're going to be looking at ~4,400 stall with the Vig 3600. I might upgrade to it later on from my Vig 3200 and just lock it up in 3rd gear.
