Or you COULD go with the less expensive flexplate and have the bolt holes not line up with the verter (do a search for threads on this subject) - I bought one of the less expensive models, holes didn't line up - so I sold it and bought an ATI. Your choice...

I was told it had a dual patternt on it to hook up to either a cast iron block or aluminum one, and also hook up to a 4L80-E, I have been reassured by many people know, surely a few of them know that that part will work??

I don't know about the crank bolt mounting pattern - I never got that far. I was speaking of the flexplate to verter bolt pattern. It was barely possible to get all (6) six of the verter bolts started while the unit was on the bench due to the bolt circle of the hole pattern in the flexplate being off from the bolt circle of the hole pattern on the verter lugs - don't know how hard it would have been during install?

I ruled out the bolt circle/pattern being off on the Yank verter I was installing because the new ATI I bought fit perfectly

There were quite a few members that posted in the threads regarding this stating they had the same problem.

TCI is not know for making 'junk' parts, and I'm sure they are done on a cnc so I still don't have any idea what the exact problem was - only know that the ATI didn't have the problem.

I just had some problems today trying to make sure all spacing with my new yank SC3000 converter,TCI399753 and 4l80e are right.My new converter has the ls1 and lt1 pattern thats fine all 6 holes line up but the converter sets 1" in on the trans but the flex plate is a hair under 7/8" when i pull the converter out to that 7/8" in the trans it almost want's slide out to much and not seal on the input shafts o-ring to seal and not leak.That 7/8" is right for a 4l60e but i don't think it's right for a 4l80e.I think i remember measuring my stock 6.0 4l80e flexplate and spacer thought it was 1" out from the back of the block surface.I might have to look at ATI's flexplate and spacer to work right for my combo.
