Default Drilling holes in stock flexplate for 6 bolt TC?

Just wondering.. i have read in some posts that people just drill 3 holes through tjeir stock flexplate to mount their 6 bolt converters..

I know they make a TCI flexplate that matches up.. but i was just thinking it would make sense to just drill the other 3 out.. since thats basically what TCI does to their 6 bolt flexplate?

Someone chime in and tell me what to do? because i have to take it to get it installed this week.. and i need to know what to tell my trans guy..

Thanks to anyone who can help!

I just finished installing the TCI flywheel and 6-lug 3600E , I would be worried about drilling the stock flywheel . The TCI is a nice piece and plenty of confidence since it's SFI approved .

now i am reading a lot of posts of people having problems with their Yanks and TCI flexplates? bolts don't line up.. and are too big or small.. or they can't find bolts at all to fit?

I'm about to drill my stocker so i know it all fits
