If your looking for a "Deep Pan" with drain plug, you'll have to score a used one as they are discontinued. If you wan't just the regular Deep Pan, I'll dig up one of my old invoices and grap the P/N off of it for you. If you use the "newer" (replaced the pan w/ plug) it won't have a drain plug and has a built in "dipstick stop". You also MUST use the plastic style filter. The half plastic/half metal deep filters won't fit it.

An '02 Silverado pan is what I have. The truck forums are
good places to look, every guy that wants a finned pan
will have a leftover stocker at some point.

are there any other pans out there that are only about a quart larger with a drain plug? i dont want to worry about scrapping the bottom of some of the larger aftermarket pans while driving? the truck pan seems to be the best bet, but i guess ill have to keep an eye on the classifieds.

A TCI pan with plug, cooling fins and 2QT extra fluid sells for $130 at Speed Inc.I don't know how much additional space it uses.
I don't know why GM stopped making their deep pan,it was a very good deal.
Try asking in sponsor section, maybe someone has one.
