ive heard too many stories about people leaving it in, the computer thinking the trans is slipping, and then bam...fried trans

if you leave it there, id at least get it turned down, but then again i said i dont remember if mine is 100% gone or not, i think it is, but i dont remember, i might still have it partially there

im pretty sure if you go to a repubatle(i cant spell today) tuner, and tell them what you have, they should know what to do with the TM

I went with a Vig 3600 (which is actually more like 3800), but then again I do have a 150 shot.

I disagree, that converter definetely does NOT drive like stock.

However, maybe you meant thats what it should have driven like stock from GM...

I know this is hacking this thread but, I'm building a 68 camaro and doing a LS1/4l60e swap. The car is getting a 4 link and running some 315 series tires out back. Motor will be mostly stock with a few bolt ons. It will mostly street driven with an occasional race. Would a high stall such as a fuddle 4000 be beneficial to my setup?

That's going to be one sweet car.
And yes, the 4000 will be a nice addition.

I'm a daily driver occasionally drag race at track but am always mowing down wanta b's on the street. I'm planning a yank 2800.been studing this for a few year's most of my friends that know my driving style say 2600. for a DD. I like yank's testing and the facilitys, do'es fuddle have good testing?

Dude if you want a wider tire don't butcher a good rim and take the risk of it breaking at hi speeds that's a dissaster waiting to happen get a high quailty forged rim.

if you get a hi shall TC for a DD it will be a dog around town untill you rev extremely high and you will hate you're car. with a smaller TC the car will be much easier to launch & more fun to drive.

just my thoughts good luck

um, no

i have a 3600 and it doesn't rev extremely high, actually under light accelleration, it gets too about 1500 and moves foward slower than before, but if i get it 1/2 - 3/4 throttle it moves faster but i can hit 2K+ and only do 20mph

and if you think 2K is extremely high, well then thats your opinion, but i dont hate my car, i hate the cracked windshield and warpped brake rotors, but that has nothing to do with the stall

and yes, i daily drive this thing, i even drive it through the snow
