Default How big should i go?

Hey guys, im getting very close to getting ready to order my fuddle stall. I just second guess myself everytime i get set on a size. Heres the deal. Car will be bolt on only, no cam or anything for a while. Its a daily driver in the summer, stored winter. I will be widenin my rims and running some wide DR's. I want to go big so i can take m6s and the rare occasion i do go to the track, i want to be impressive. Car will see track only few times a year. I dont care about MPG. What size do you think i should go with?

4000+ I wish I had gone bigger. My 3500 is not bad at all to drive on the street.

I am not voting because I am in the exact same situation as yourself, I just want to see everyone's input on what size stall to go with.

Joel what is your STR on your stall?
Also what times are you pulling and with what mods?

I know thats alot of questions, but it would be very beneficial to myself in deciding on what I too am going to order for this spring.

SS3600 str 2.2 it is a beast on the street, traction definietly an issue but i dont think you will even hook up with wider tires and drag radials, i can break loose doing 45 and it is about 55 degrees today on street tires. would go any bigge than what i have for a bolt on only car like mine or the traction will be even worse. good luck deciding

Go big or go home, if its a locking stall you have nothing to worry about!

What does everyone run?
A locking stall or a non-locking stall?

Also what is meant when someone says their converter flashes?

you pretty much need a locking stall for daily driving otherwise say goodbye to any gas milage, thats why most if not everybody has a locking stall. As for the converter flashing, it means that when you floor it the rpms shoot up to your stall rating (ex. 3500) or just below it.

Thats odd i have a non lock up 5,100 stall and still get 20 mpg on the highway.
BTW this is with 4.10's and no overdrive.

it was used, bought from NBM2001Z28, so all i really know about it is its a Fuddle 3600/2.5 STR

havent had any problems with the 2-3 shift hitting the rev limiter, shifts around 6K and drops to about 5K

last time i checked, MPG was about 17, but i love the sound of the headers/duals which is causing me to give it more throttle than whats needed
