yup plus if your blowing your tires off you can lower the lanch rpm so you stop shitting you pants at every lanch

If you are worried about rolling out of lights you can wire a line lock for the front tires.

hey cool rayz. what actual Rpm was it allowing you to stall to. I know 800 over before TB. I just want to know whether its worth it or not. I currently can't rev past 2000 RPMS with a trex and 3500SSF and 4.56 on 28" talls. I just want to know whether it would be worth it or not getting the transbrake and what RPM I could launch at in the future.

I assume your trap speed is in the 117mph range on the bottle? I would think you should be stalling that converter on a "T" brake over the 3500 that its rated at. Your best answer would come from Kevin windstead with TCI. I would contact him and provide a dyno sheet. He would be able to tell you what it would stall for sure (relativly sure) IMHO

Does it stall over the size of the converter or under. ex: if I go with a 4400. would the TB allow reving past 4400. Is my understanding correct?

The transbrake allows you to rev UP TO the actual stall of the converter. So if you have a stall properly rated at 4400, the transbrake will hold the engine to 4400 when the throttle is floored. If the stall is not at 4400 as advertised, then the converter was not rated properly.

Went to nowalk yesterday and ran a 9.98@136
Finally my first 9 with a 1.46 60'
Still alot left in her the DA was 2500.
Every time i lean on it I get tire spin. I have been watching the video and it looses traction after the front tires are in the air. hard to beleive it but im breaking the tires loose with the cars entire weight on them

holy **** kool that is quite amazing. I wanted to go with a TH400 because I can't stand blowing 4l60e's up. I just hate losing that last gear.

So you think Rosslers trans can hold upto the abuse? With the TB abuse too? Car is a 10sec car NA.. plus it will have some spray on it too. I usually destroy the 4l60es the first time to the track

He told me he was swamped and I'm no where near done with the engine so i'm in no hurry. I'll post up later in the winter when I have a report from Carl. I have no reason to believe there was anything wrong, the fluid was like brand new and the pan was clean.

I had Carl inspect the transmission while i had the engine out for the winter. I will pick it back up on monday. He said it all looked good so im ready for another season as my engine will be ready for pickup early this week also. Carl is waiting for a shipment of a new custom 3/4 clutch material. the cluches he uses now are a clutch pack for a different transmission that he modifies for the 4l60. these will be a custom clutch pack designed and manufactured just for him

An easy way of looking at it is a T brake is like a 6 speed off the line. YOu let go of the bottom and its instant power and shock to the rear. Its like dumping the clutch at high RPM's on a 6 speed car.

I would not trust a T-brake car on stickies and a 10 bolt LOL

KA-POWEY!!!!

What does his 4L60E T-Brake cost? My computer does not like his site lol.

Rpm buys them from Rossler, Rossler has a patent. Buying from RPM is a good way to buy one from a sponsor.
Mine has held up great
