There is a wiring harness you have to buy from speartech, Your PCM will also need changing by HPtuners or someone like that. Its not something you can do yourself, crossmemeber (BMR, Yank), A converter that will fit the 80e & bolt up to the LS1/LS6 flywheel. (fuddle) The trans cooler lines have to be bent at the trans. Im in the process of swaping this out myself as we speak....

Yank sells a crossmember for the 4L80E conversion. Fuddle couldn't have figured out as they don't sell one. Why trust them?
The 4L80E has a slightly diff harness and uses an extra speed sensor over the 4L60E in most applications. It is basically a TH400 with overdrive as previously stated. Very expensive trans to buy from the dealer. They hold up to the late model big block quite well.
