Any one have any links or personal clips of a Race like this? Im real curious. My girlfriends brother has a 04 GTO M6 and I have a 01 WS6 A4. Just wanna see what im truly up against. He is Stock, and my mods include: SLP LM CB, SLP Lid, SLP Smooth Bellow, SLP Cold AIR, Diablo Predator Tuner, and Custom tuning by Running WIth The Devil "RWTD", Eibach Prokit and Bilstien Struts. Any opinions.. help out!

 

The '04 model had the LS1 rated at 350 HP, but they tip the scales a few hundred pounds more than an F-body. I think it would be pretty close, but you have the advantage. I've seen a few '04's at the track and they all seemed to be in the 14.2-13.8 bracket. I'd say you are probably in the mid-13 bracket. So slight advantage to you.

 

I say advantage to the WS6, I know stock for stock the WS6 i ran against in my 04 A4 GTO pulled a car length on me up to 120. The M6 GTO is a pain to launch. with a little modding on his part and its a drivers race....just my .02...SG

no video's but I race my buddies 04 GTO all the time... he is an Auto just like me, but he has 3.73 gears, functional ram air hood, air intake, SLP Loudmouth and a diablo premium tune. My car is the A4 with 2.73's, bbk 80 mm ported, K & N FIPK, SLP loudmouth catback and i beat him by about 1/2 car sometimes more or less depending on the launch, so u should have no problem

 

I have a video... but my friends roomate is a noob and video'd my tach/speedo rather than me up against him.. Im a a4 and he was a 6 speed, but im on radials. Radials are what won that race.

this race happend this weekend. its an 04' GTO with a different hood, followed the guy down the highway and finally caught a light.

i pretty much played with him up until 60ish when i finally hammered down, let off at 100 because my Valentine1 picked up an extra signal compared to normal.
