Default Got my stall in and..............

Everything is good it flashes around 2400 which is good for me for my first stall. And on a daily driver. But When the converter locks up at 35 it vibrates the car and makes the car shake checked fluid and everything and its all good. But when I pour into the gas a little bit and lock it up it doesnt do it. Also say I wait to 50 mph to lock it p it doesnt do it either.

Sounds like your lockup clutch took a dump. My TCI SSF 3500 did the same thing when the TCC went out. Hate to say it is time pull the converter for a rebuild. Check the color of your fluid I bet it is a reddish/brown.

TCI hooked me up on a re-build and and upgraded my verter to a front billet cover.

a 3200 stall only flashes to 2400? that sounds like a stock stall to me. do you mean brake-stalls to 2400? if your converter is flashing to 2400, sounds like something's wrong.

yea, if your only flashing to 2400 something is wrong, besides whatever is causing the other problems.

I think its simply a condition of too low RPM for lockup at 35. My car will barely move at that speed, its simply TOO much for the motor. It will lock at 38 and unlock at 35 to be exact. However anything under 42 ish is just too slow for lockup in 4th.

Too soft of a TCC apply, will let certain clutch materials
shudder or hoot or groan. This can be fixed by tuning
or by eliminating the TCC PWM function in hardware.
Using a top-of-the-line ATF which claims to meet
latest anti-chatter specs is also aa good idea. No
store-brand stuff, no synthetics and absolutely no
B&M Trick Shift....

I should also add, mine vibrates a lot at that speed locked, again though too low of an RPM and it's lugging the motor which I believe is the cause, or part of it.

And I don't have PWM, and i'm vacuum modded with upgraded pumps so line pressure isn't an issue.

Maybe Ill try some better ATF. I just bought some store brand from advance auto parts. Maybe some mobil 1 or something may b ea good idea. I just lost my license for 30 days for street racing today. So maybe ill pull it out again and send it off to TCI for a freshen up.
