4L60E & 4L80E Shifting
TransGo HD-3 shift kit is the only way I know how on the 80 but it would be forward pattern I think. I wish there was a RMVB for those things. Anyone know if anyone makes one???
On the 60, there is a stick shift option for all the TransGo kits I think. It will be forward pattern only too. You can get manual valve bodies for the 700r4 which is a non-electronic version of the 4l60e.

Even in Tci they don’t have for 4L60

I have GMC Z71 v6 engine . I replace it with 8.1 I do ever think her even the ecu I tune it with HP tuners how ever the points her is the transmission that way i ask you mate about the shifting > know i have 2 solution & i need advies
1-Transmission Controll Unit (stand alone system )

As for the 4L80E; Compushift makes a stand alone controller that you can wire paddle shifters or what ever you want to use as a gear selector. I know its not the same as manually moving the stick but it can react just as fast.
