It depends on the brand. The Yank SS3200 is a great daily driver. It is very tight. On the other hand, for example, the Vigilante 3200 actually stalls about 3600 rpms and is, therefore, looser. TCI, i believe, is quite a bit looser than Yank, also....at least the ones I've ridden in. That's why I didn't vote.

Yank SS 3600. Rode in a Midwest 3800 a month before I got my Yank and it was way looser than mine is. It all depends on the brand. Yank 4000 may be fine for DD, but I know my 3600 works great. Other brands however, I don't know.

go with Yank. such a good brand. very tight convertor and so streetible with even the 3600. i have the 3600 SS series and love it. couldn't be any happy with it. i think the 3600 will be even more street friendly if you went with gears. email yank and talk to them. very nice people to deal with.

I had a Fuddle 3400.. it was fine on the street daily driving. ran 1.7 60's on DR's at the track too. I should soon have some times and daily driving impressions with my new Vig 3600.
It will depend on your preference. I have 2.73's and so my converter will be loose but it doesn't bother me at all.

I haven't installed one yet but I've done alot of research and a Yank 3600 is what i'm gonna go with after i install the 3.73 gears and throw on some sub-frame connectors.

Man all those stalls seem so high. How do they survive on the street? Is it simply due to the lockup? When you arent putting your foot in it they dont slip alot and heat up bad?

Yank 3600! All the way-all day long...Get a trans cooler too! Best thing to do is call Yank talk to the techs and tell them EXACTLY what you want it to do in all conditions, how you will use it, and your fears...You will see real quick that the guys at Yank will put your wildest fears and IGNORANT assumptions to rest overnight...Enjoy the first stop light you leave with you guts in the backseat and that nice pucker feel...your gonna need new tires soon too just from sheer joy of NEW SPEED!
