You definitely don't need a tune with that converter, as long as that's the only thing you would be tuning it for. If you haven't tuned it since the mods in your sig, you could probably use a tune.

Then no, you don't need a tune. Wait until you get some of those bolt ons to get a tune.

My suggestion to you is...get a tune..you dont want to be bouncing off the limiter and risk blowing your tranny.i didnt even take mine to redline before i got a tune.

Ft Myers here also...

Every car & every converter is different. With a 3600 stall I had to bump my idle speeds up a little bit and play with my shift mph/rpm tables a little. You may get away clean on the stock tune, you may not. My 2 cents......get yourself tuning software and forgettaboutit.

You'd probably be able to get away with it, but it may not be perfect as it would be after a tune. You may have issues stalling at idle and bumping the rev limiter at WOT shifts, but it'll be driveable for sure.....and you may not have any problems at all.

worst thing that could happen will be your car dying somtimes, bouncing off limiter, and your shift points being off a little.you can live with not tuning it till you get some more boltons...Havent you been through this already being your second a4..lol

you on naplesracing?

yea im on naples racing my name is magnet over there too...i didnt have to deal with it on my old car cuz i sold it before i had to deal with it. I was really young and had no money, i mean im almost 19 now and had the other a4 almsot 3 years ago now..and yes im STILL young and i just dont feel like paying an extra 500 if i dont have to..my last m6 i ran full boltons and it ran fine..it ran alittle rich but it had no drivablility problems without a tune..and it ran like a champ.

it sounds like i should install all my parts from my last car on this..run around town for awhile like that and when i get money get the stall and get it all tuned at once..
