I had issues with my Fuddle, and that whole thing is finally done. I got my tranny back today and got everything back together. I love my new Yank converter its nice and tight. You let off the brakes and it roll forward. When it locks up, its rock solid. I learned my lesson on buying converters. I just glad frank from Performabuilt was such a cool guy about everything and got me squared away.

I have a similar spec converter (3500, 2.0) that is
the HP/Street and it acts pretty much as described.
If you wanted a hard hit (but even more paddlewheel
effect) a higher STR converter like most vendors make
would have been an option.
Personally I like the "elastic" feel of a lower STR and
a moderate RPM. It follows my foot (unlike a stocker
where more pedal makes nothing, or an all-out high
stall where you have to give it a lot of air to go
anywhere).
My car idles at 700RPM and creeps on level at idle.
Level cruise 30MPH 1500RPM with 3.42s in 3rd. 60
MPH in 3rd is about 3000 level and will stretch to
3500 at quarter throttle. That's about where I want.
I would like to have a better idea of the mid-RPM
efficiency.
