Whenever I drive my car then park it, I can find some transmission fluid on the ground. It is coming from the front of the tranny...what could be leaking?

 

Jack it up, put it on jackstands, take a nice bright flashlight and find out. Could be trans lines, could be a seal, could be a pan gasket. A good look will help more than my guess will.

 

Check your cooler lines.

 

This isn't mine, but it is a picture I found on here.

Mine is leaking around that round metal piece and on the front where it bolts to the engine. Definately red transmission fluid. Not a rear engine seal.

 

Well if its coming from there its going to be either the pump oring, pump seal, or one of the little orings on one or the pump bolts, But your going to have to pull it out to figure out in which case I would replace all of the above and be done with it,

Take the little round plug out at the bottom as in the pic. If there is fluid in ther than get ready to pull the tranny out and replace all the seals as mentioned above.

When you remove the convertor make sure that it is smooth (where it goes in the frt pump) or it will ruin the new seal when you put it back in.

 

How does it come up? Just pry on it with a screwdriver?

 

Just pry it with a small screwdriver.
