Vig Multi Disc 3600?
I have a Fuddle 3400 which true stalls to 3600 of the line in the Monaro. Shift extension is 5200RPM with a 6800RPM shift point. Sounds like a 3600 to me...
Personally, I hate em for street duties. I need something a little tighter. My 3200 was perfect. Going back soon...
I believe the stall ratings of PI are more accurate than most. Most ppl. think they are looser, but thats cause they don't know what their own converters actually stall to. Can't measure it off the brake or what the REVS climb to on launch.
PI 3600 should hit harder than a Yank 3600, put it that way. Ive logged the Yank 3600 and given the medium sized 23X cam in it, only generated 3300 flash stall off the line. But they will feel "tighter" for street duties.
Yet a 216-220 cam can yield true 3600 flash stall off the line. Its all relative to the off-line torque you make.
So in summary, not all converters are equal, and not all cars are either. One converter will feel different installed in 2 seemingly identical cars if they make more or less torque off the line.

As far as PI being more accurate than others I don't really think so. I think they may be a little under rated IMO. My 3200 on the spray would flash to 5000 off the line and would flash to about 3800 N/A. That was before I got my heads and cam.

Well, I just watched my tach, I know that's not really accurate but that's how I did it. It would jump up to those rpms I spoke of earlier. How would you meausre it?

On the other hand instead of replying I'm confused, ask questions like you just did if someone is not giving you enough information. That's what MNR-0 did. Hell they may have just forgotten to include that information.
