With the mods you have you could easily pick up 3 to 5 tenths just from a stall.

I have an SS3800 and my brother has a SS4000. I love mine and wouldn't change. It must be as efficient as they claim it is because I didn't loose any MPH at the track. As far as durability, my brother has beat the sheet out of his and it keeps on truckin'. I have 3.23s and around town she'll spin up to about 2500 to keep up with traffic because everyone around here thinks they're Mario Andretti but after it locks up, it's same as OEM.

Go big the first time and you won't regret it. You don't want to have to pull it twice to restall it. ;D

Yeah, I don't want to go toooo big though. I think I'm going with a 3600 stall.

What do you guys think of Fuddle? I know they used to be considered pretty good, but now I'm hearing some not so good things about them. I don't have the money for the Yank/Vig right now, but the Fuddles are very well priced right now. The Performance and HP/Street converters are priced at $385/$535 right now. So I would have enough to get one of those if they are still good.

My experience with Yank has been great. I vote them, and the 3600 would be sweet.

yeah, as mentioned above, how does fuddle stack-up against the above mentioned. i was thinking of a vig or a fuddle. I would love to buy yank and i know u get what u pay for but i cannot justify the price of a yank to my wife right now.

I've been running the Vig 3200-3400 for over a year now and been very pleased with the performance it has delivered. I SCREWED UP when my 4L60E took a dump last time.Because I didn't clean out the Vig. while the tranny was being rebuilt. So while my car is waiting on a new shortblock I bought a new performabuilt tranny and sent the Vig back to Percision for a clean out and I told them not to mess with the stall speed cause I liked the way it performed. Just got it back no charge! Good customer service! But I really don't think you'll go wrong with either one. Both are top quality products.

I have bolth and imo they are the top two. I have a SS 3200 Yank for sale it only has 3 dyno runs on it 412RWHP, then I changed my whole combo.

Yank= http://www.streetsleepers.com/all%20...%20AM_0001.jpg

Btw it's black02z28's car.. all the bolt on ls1's i have seen w/ yanks run hard... The SS series of converters are nice.. Although i'd spring for a SS4K if it was me personally.. not much diff between the two around town and the perf gain you'll get on the 1/4 will be worth a lil more looseness.. But like mentioned above.. can't go wrong w/ either company.. Just yank has been good to us time and time again..

This is true. Not only a great product but great service too. When I was in the market for a converter Yank called ME. Answered all my questions, and I bought one almost on the spot. As far as performance I love the converter. My dad who is in his 50's can get in the car and barely tell the difference. When I'm in there throwin the hammer down it hits hard. I wish that I would have went with the SS3600 though.

I have had them both, a vig 3600 and a Yank SS4000. I like the Yank a lot better for a street/strip car, but the vig is great for a daily driver type car. The car drives almost like stock with the vig but still launches pretty good and the yank is a freakin animal. The yank was worth a full tenth in the 60' on my car, plus it pulled harder on the top end. It's pretty loose cruising around though, you definately know it's there.
