I have had one from both companies. I had a PI vig. 3200 in my old car and i absolutely loved that thing. The car I have now has a Yank SS3600 and I like it alot too but my car doesnt 60' like it did with the vig in it. The cars were almost identical mod wise but The vig was just nasty outta the hole even though it was a 3200 vs the yank 3600. So my vote went for the vig. 3600. I think you will be happy with either IMO. The vigs tend to be a little looser that advertised also. I just bought a lvl 2 trans and 4000 stall from performabuilt so well see how that performs 60' wise.
P. S. Ill probably be selling my yank s3600 here soon.

I had both, the VIG 3600 I had was NASTY and 60ft'd better than my orig. Yank TP4200
But I then had Yank rework my TP4200 and it was as good or even alittle better on the big end,it didnt hit as hard on the bottem but the car still ET'd and MPH'd so I left it alone,it was also alittle tighter feeling too..
Those 2 verters were awesome so for me to 1 would be impossible...

get a vigilante - if you're in the midwest, you can order it through speedinc and see it in a few days.

I recently replaced my toasted A4 with a Performabuilt LVL 3 along with a new Yank PY 3400 (an FI convertor for my Procharged ATI D1SC 346).
Comparing the two - the Yank drives much better in the city - and doesn't feel as loose as the Vig and hits hard when I hammer it.
Both are good convertors but I like the Yank better than the Vig.

What do you guys think of Fuddle? I know they used to be considered pretty good, but now I'm hearing some not so good things about them. I don't have the money for the Yank/Vig right now, but the Fuddles are very well priced right now. The Performance and HP/Street converters are priced at $385/$535 right now. So I would have enough to get one of those if they are still good.

I had a fuddle 3600(2.2) for the money it;s a great converter but you get what you pay for. Switching to yank and or Vig there is a big difference. Me and a buddy both had fuddles and switched to a yank and he went with Vig. Both preformed better. but im not knocking fuddle for $450. its worth that in my opinion.
