Why would you do that? To control the 80e only?

If that's the case, the stock pcm CAN control a 4L80e. Search the forums.

not sure exactly what you mean, but..

i have the stock computer in my car still, it runs the dash and radiator fans and rest of the junk not run by bs3 (engine/trans)

I need information on how you wired up your neutral safety switch and reverse. I have the same shifter but I have a custom harness to be able to use the ECU to control the transmission rather than having a standalone running it

you should ask your standalone harness people, i dont know what they have included in their harness or not. i took the KISS approach

that part of mine was run by the stock body harness. i ran the two wires that used to go to the clutch over to the shifter p/n switch

the other switch (reverse lights) i ran the two wires that used to go to the m6 reverse switch on the trans to the shifter r switch
