If your clutch is sticking to the floor you have more issues that the master.

# miles on clutch?

Still original?

Do you race it?

Mcleod's new adjustable master and the drill out mod works wonders for me. I did up grade the entire clutch system with their kevlar set up.

Personally if you have the miles on your present clutch, do with a better set-up. Even the Z06 clutch with Mcleod's master, new slave and the drill out mod will be great for a 'daily' driver.

I currently have almost 47k on my clutch, still stock, entire car is stock actually. What all would I need to fix this problem? Is the Z06 clutch a pretty good clutch(i would guess so seeing it is coming from a Z06?) A master cylinder and a slave cylinder? How much would the Z06 clutch be? I want to get this fixed before it gets too late and the whole clutch go out or something? I'm going to the Turkey Rod Run in Nov., Hopefully i'll hav it fixed by then

Since you have an 00 it's most likely your slave cylinder. The part itself is only like $50. Problem is, to get to it you have to yank the tranny. Since you have the tranny out a clutch swap is almost a given.

GREAT! My friends dad is a mechanic, he also said it might be the slave cylinder, I wanted to make sure before I bought anything I didn't need to,Is the master cylinder need to be replaced to or just the slave? since I have the tranny out a clutch would be a good idea too? What clutch would be a good idea? My car is stock, i'll have the SLP LM quad setup before long, air lid, normal things, maybe Nitrous eventually. Just a daily driver. Any suggestions on clutches? TIA

For a daily driver (and MAYBE a trip to the track once in a while) go with the Z06. Most of the sponsors carry them. My favorite place is www.thunderracing.com . I would say for a daily driver the master should be fine. Do the drill out mod, slave and than the Z06 clutch package. If you can get it replaced by a friend, great.

Z06 clutch package from LMperformance.com?
Clutch, pressur plate, and flywheel for $490? PLUS the slave cylinder for this clutch for $96? Does this sound right or too much? I have no idea

OUCH! 490 seems a tad steem for that package.

FWIW. I paid $262.08 for my ZO6 clutch/pressure plate/flywheel package from gmpartsdirect.com (GM List is $436.80, PN 12570281) Can probably figure another 40-50 for shipping and handling on that as well.

I'm not sure what the slave cylinder Part Number is, but i'm sure a search in this section could easily find it. They should also have this as well.

I just went to their website and punched in the part number, it came up with a price and I ordered it. (The description only says 'FLYWHEEL', but it's the whole package)

Is there a Z06 slave cylinder that i'll need to get when I get the Z06 Clutch package or could I just order the replacement slave cylinder for the LS1?

The Z06 slave has the fittings at different angles and will not work.
