Default Hookers and TP4500 installed!!!!

Well its done,No clearance issues,no baging and quiet exhaust note with no leaks.Fit and finish are great. The car idle's better too for some reason?I have alittle surge under cold start but it never stalls and cleans itself out with 20 sec. to a steady crisp lope.

I think they are indeed making alittle more tq than the BIG Dyna's according to the SOTP dyno but who knows,I gotta tell myself that to feel good.

For the leak factor alone they were worth going to and I hope to see some results at the track too.

Now the TP4500 is AWESOME!!!
Boy what a fool I was for not listening to alot of guys on here.I sold my TP4200 a while back and went to the Vig 3800.It only 60ft well 2 times the whole time I had it and always felt soft, especially on the big end.

This YANK is a different story,It pulls away from a light with a snarl and pulls much better from a roll,I havent really wacked it yet but will put some hard runs on it in the comming weeks. Its only slightly looser than the Vig was off a light which is comforting,But its loose none the less

Again,I love the way the car idles now,Clean and crisp. Not mushy like before.Could be an illusion but I dont think I'm imagining it ....

If u want a quality header the HOOKERS will provide u with a solid option and at a geat price.I would get them again in a heartbeat.Nothing against the standard Dyna but the Steps are not for a 346 and no one cam make me see a need for them unless building a BIG motor.I'm glad I switched..

Hey can you hook on nittos with that verter? I have a TP4400 sitting in my apartment awaiting install and I am going to wait if I can't hook on nittos with it.

I have Joel's old Yank 4200. I had a Vig 2800 before it, the Yank is better in every way from any speed. The Yank's biggest advantage is from a 40 MPH roll, the smaller Vig did not flash high enough to pull my 3.23 gears away hard at that spot, this big Yank's biggest downfall is traction at any speed in 1st gear and a good part of 2nd....

It is loose, it can be annoying if I have my cut-out open because then you hear/feel it slipping to 3500 RPMs in normal around town driving. But, I still drove this car to work 110 miles round trip for a few months every single day before I bought my Hyundai. The only real downside is my city gas mileage is terrible, but its still decent on the highway because the convertor locks up.

Kenny is correct on his info....
The 4200 rocked in my car but now I've moved onto bigger and better things (TP4500)

yeah Patrick and Joel have helped me a lot in deciding on a verter and gears for when i get ready to do my 4l70 swap. as far as tires, well, i already have hoosiers on my ride. those should be alright
