LOL JK man I have a 4l70 in my tbss and it held up for about a year. It was slippin going into od every so often so out it came and it went to FLT. I dont believe the 4l70 is any stronger then 60/65e....But thats only my opinion

Most of the guys on the forum went with built trannies and if your going to spend the money on one why not make it a 4L80E!

I agree on the input drum.BTW at what level are you guys seeing broken shafts?
We normally see it in truck applications due to the weight and torque of the vehicles. It does happen from time to time in a car that runs slicks with wheels up launches. It does not happen often but does happen. We are looking to do this to make these units stronger of course. Vince
