Stalled car drivers - please enter!
What's going on everyone? Sorry to beat a dead horse here but i'm new to the modding scene completely and I have some questions. Right now the car is pretty much stock and i'm looking to utilize the power I got before I go with any kinda bolton to increase power. So I thought a stall would be a good place to start. But I have never been in a stalled car before nor do I know the behavior of one. My friend has recommended a 3200 and another has recommended a 3800 stall. This car is daily driven and i'm just wonderin how different it becomes driving around town and that kinda thing. Any stalled guys around who care to share their experiences driving their stalled cars?
I would go w/ a 3600. The around town driving isn't much different, well besides the loss of MPG. Other than that you'll love a stall, IMO it's the best mod you can do for an auto.

My gas mileage went down pretty badly in town, but locked-up on the highway it's still comparable. As far as the police go, it all depends. I have a 3600 with a medium cam, LT's and sweet-thunders dumped @ the axle and have never had a problem?

My only advice, don't get a TCI. They are ****, imo. Mine only lasted 6 months.
Good luck.
