Default Which tranny cooler and where to put it?

I have a 4000 Fuddle on the way and I'm in the middle of doing a heads/cam swap due to a collapsed lifter. I've got to order a tranny cooler and I was just wondering which one you guys are running and where did you put it?

Do they come with the mounting hardware or are you on your own with it?

I mounted mine parallel with my ac condensor... i'm about to pull my ac off anyways so it does matter if it blocks the condensor..

Air can pass thru the trans-cooler..so if you put it in front of the condenser or radiator your not blocking any flow from either one.

B&M Supercooler

In front of the A/C Condenser

I'm running in the 180s at 90F in traffic

Also have a Dewitt's radiator.....it runs in the 180's too.

And this is with the air on!

This is on my 95 383 Corvette Coupe Stroker

I think mounting it TO the radiator is a bad idea.. The radiator will cause it to heat up to the radiator temp.. I just zipp tied mine in front, off the radiator.

There is mouting it "dope" style up front.. Maybe a search can find you pics on it.
