How many RWHP will a stock 4L60E take?

It'll take 500rwhp.....for about one pass. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
They are very strong transmissions, you can race them often with stock or near stock power levels all day long without issue and you can even run them hard with some 'real' power and a convertor (MUST use a tranny cooler) behind them on a more limited basis. But putting 375+rwhp through a stock, unbuilt 4L60E on a regular basis will probably cause it to break rather quickly.

I have 2000 z with A4 all that I have done to the car is 3.73 gears, freemodes, hpp3, and K&N, 160 stat. I have about 10 1/8 passes and 10-15 1/4 passes, and the tranny is already slipping on me. Not to mention that I don't even have good traction. Goodyear eagle GT2's suck. I am thinking that it might have already had a problem because it never would shift correctly after the gear was put in it. Hope this helps
