Vigilante 2800, or 3200? About to purchase!
Just as thew title says. I have a 1998 Z28 with airlid, LS6 intake, pacesetter long tubes and SLP loudmouth exhaust. The rep from Vig. suggested the 2800. What does that usually stall to? (since they are under rated) This is a DD car as well, but the 3200 seems so tempting. Please help because I want to purchase asap!
Thanks

I have a 3000 stall in my car..and while i'm happy with it..I could have definately went bigger and it would still be very streetable..If i ever have to pull it out for some reason i will prolly get it restalled to a 3600 or 3800. So i would get atleast the 3200 if i was you.

Vig 3200 is roughly equal to a Yank SS3600 in flash and shift extension, maybe slightly higher on both. Yank seems to be slightly more efficient up top though.
My converter has about 9% slip depending on calculator used, vs 6%ish on another local's Yank. Mine has given me 0 problems, so I would definitely recommend one still.

I put a 2800 into my car and have been decently happy with it for the last 5 years or so.. However, lately I am thinking about pulling it and swapping it for a 3200.. Vig gives you 1 free restall (or they used to.)

I would get a 2800 because my car is a daily driver and stalling to 3200 is plenty for me. I would value the added tightness over a measly 400 rpms, but that's just my opinion...
