Default electronic transmission problems help

i have a built 4l60 e in my 94 and it wont shift into 3rd gear at any rpm it just feels like neutral im doubting if there is anything mechanicaly wrong with the trans because i changed the fluid and it was bright red no metal flakes or anything, and seeing how it has only been in it 4 a month with stock tires so im thinking something electrical in the trans like a servo or something for 3rd gear is messed up let me know what u think thanks

Well if it feels like 1-2-neutral then the 2-3 shift is being comanded so it is more then likley a mechanical failure. With no debris the most common thing is the snap ring broke or came out of the 3-4 clutch.

You should contact the builder of your transmission. A 3-4 clutch failure in that little bit of time is very disapointing. Hopefully they will help you out. Vince

I have been in contact with them and they have been very helpful so far. I am awaiting the replacement...and will let you know what they find.
