i had a fuddle 3200 in my vette and it worked good. when i went to a 3600 i switched to a yank. nothing bad to say about my fuddle performance 3200. it performed great for me. i ran the 3200 with 3.15 gears and the 3600 with 3.42 gears and only dropped from 11.8 to 11.7. i believe it will get a bit better with better traction but nevertheless the fuddle was definitely good.

I gained an assload of MPH by going with a Yank PT4000 over my old Vigi 3200 and the car is a completely different beast.

thats the best way, probably the only way to find out what you can tolerate as far as DD goes... get into a stalled car and see how it rides.
things that will help make it feel "less loose" are higher gears to get the car moving quicker, and i think the higher the STR the tighter the converter...
FWIW I will probably be running a fuddle coverter in the next couple days, unless i find a good deal on a PT4000... i'm told it is actually more close to a 4400 stall which is what i want.
