did you ever have any problems with the 3200? Seems weird to me, i would first talk to PI and the person(s) who installed it. I see your sig says you have a "built" trans, was this done at the same time or close to the same time as getting this converter installed?

Hi
The Trans has been built for a 1 or so.My 3200 had a little prob going into OD but not bad.But when the cam was installed all heck broke loose. Both converters wont go into od.The guy that did the cam said it was the converter,so I went to a 3600 looser now it idles ok ,but still having trouble.I found out today that its probably a mess up in his redueing the computer and doesnt want to admit it
So another guy in a week is going to look at my puter and see if he can see whats wrong.I hope he can find some thing and fix it!As Far as my cam install I have regreted every minute of it!Because I have delt with someone who obveously does not know what he is doing....
Thanks for the reply

Converters don't go into OD, your transmission does. This sounds like a tranny issue. I would ATAP it and make sure the computer thinks OD is selected.

Does the converter lock-up in 3rd gear?

It probably needs PCM program work.Try this if you have Atap,it worked every time on my car when it would unlock or refuse to lock up.

Use the clear codes even though there is no code stored.I could be driving down the road and have the trans unlock, hit the clear code and immediatly lock back up.Thunder did my PCM mail order tune and it now locks up 100% of the time.

Ragtop it does not lock in 3rd.JFM you are Correct about the needing programmingI talked with Precision Ind. They said it was the computer.Because I can lock it up fully with my manual lock up swith. They said they strongly recommend getting rid of Torque managment system. That all my problems with the converter issue will more then likly clear upIf I am on the Highway and nail it from a 70-75mph roll The motors is pulling and sounds strong, but my car is not gaining the speed it used to.My tranny feels like its slipping. And that is the converter not working properly(no Lock up).I have an appointment for next week with some one more reputiable.I hope he can make my car run?

also could be the misfire issue. The PCM reads misfires and will make you verter unlock and not lock back up. It will fell like the car isnt in OD. You have to sit the misfire temps on edit so it doesnt read the misfires. The cam will make the misfires alot worse. Its normal espically with a cam...
