Default Fuddle 3600 to Yank PT4000..opinions?

ok,ive had my fuddle for about a year now and it has done a good job,but i keep hearing about this Yank PT4000.How much more of a performer do you think the PT series converter will be over the fuddle,i know that im going from a 3600 to a 4000 and i would feel a difference anyway but is the quality and performance of the yank that much better then the fuddle? This will be with TFS 215 heads and a Torquer v2 cam,i will not be spraying the car.

with them heads and that cam you will love it..just make sure you have some good tires and susp. mods...the shifts are only goin to fall about 1k. so if you shift at 6500 then it will fall to 5500.

i will have a pt 4000 one day

You will love that converter. What gears are you running? You're gonna need some sticky *** tires!

Well my Yank PT4000 will be here soon, along with my FLT level 5.I guess the efficiency of the Fuddle wasnt to good, car would blow through the verter on the dyno not giving a good reading...only 405rwhp..but i guess thats what i get for buying a 400 dollar chepo

I'll be installing my FLT level 4 and PT4400 tomorrow from a SS4000....so my review will follow a few days after that. I can't wait....I've heard wonderful things about the PT series.

I have a pt4000 its a insane converter. On the street i cant even go wot till 15-20mph from a dig the converter just hits so hard it wastes the tires + i dont really have any suspension yet. Its a good converter from a roll also. If you plan on spraying more than a 100 shot I wouldnt use it its EXTREMELY loose

So, it's been several months and no-one has reported back. My Yank SS3600 is getting replaced by a Yank PT4000. The car should be back together Friday. what kind of gains did you guys see going from a Street/Strip to the Pro Thruster 4000?

I did a cam/intake/pulley at the same time so I can't tell you what the converter alone gained, but the PT4400 is night and day difference over the SS4000, especially from a highway roll. It pulls so much harder. I can't say how much your ET will drop, but I'll be surprised if you don't gain MPH.

I would have sent the fuddle back as he would have bumped you to a 4K stall for free more then likely and spend the saved money on some DR's..

My buddy has a 402 CI (AFR's, etc) and a PT4000 (he just sold it as he did not like it) and I have a H/C stock bottom end with a 100 shot. So, we damn near have the same HP level giving a little here and there.

We both ran same ET and MPH only thing noticably different was my 1.45 60' to his 1.49' 60'... So, take it as you like, I am just letting you know track results.

I emailed John to ask if I can spray it with a 200 shot out of the whole, he said go for it and try a 300 shot. lol

Uh, that's a 1.48 60-ft sir. I loved the converter; it performed better than expected. I just needed something different for my new setup. You should mention your best 60-ft was with a 100 shot out of the hole and mine was n/a. You should also mention we were nearly dead even from a roll even though your car is lighter. Come on get your facts straight buddy.

HaHa.. lol

My best 60' was the 1.45 then I ran into the hesitation problem and then winter hit...

When we raced from roll I had the 50 shot in, I was going to leave that out..lol

And the scale said you weight 120lbs, we both know that aint right. lol

You know I am joking with ya, I guess we will have to run teh same class this year!!
