3600 stall: Too much for daily driver?

My opinion is that a high stall TC doesn't work for some because they can't get used to the engine taching up on take off. I can relate to that. It's all a trade-off, many prefer a stall in the 2800-3200 range.
As far as highway driving goes, as long as the TC locks up as it should, you'll see no loss in gas mileage.
IF there IS a replacement for displacement for an A4, it's a good TC,at least in the 1/4.
