Default Installing A4 dipstick

Anyone got any tips on re-installing the tranny dipstick for an A4 4l60e after a H/C swap?

I lost mine, debating whether or not to go and put it back in after buying a new one. Thoughts?

its a pain in the butt! we just did a converter in a friend of ours car and it took some light beating to get it back into place it helps a lot though when the cars on the lift and you've got one guy on top and a couple of guys on the bottom of the car trying to get it all in place

it wasn't too hard when I did mine... stick it in the hole, push down, then put the bolt back on (on the back of the head) from the bottom... plenty of room.

10 minute job

It all has to do with how far the trans it lowered or raised. You can make it hard or easy on yourself.
