Default Wish I had gone bigger

Put a SS3600 Yank in a few months ago and so far so good. Haven't had an issue one with it. BUT I wish I had maybe gone a lil bigger with it. I'm just running a TR220 cam and 3.73's. It really woke the car up, but for some reason it just doesn't seem to leave very hard and when driving around town in stop and go traffic, it feels just like it did stock which isn't a bad thing. I do plan on spraying it at some point in the future and wonder if its a bad idea to go with a 4000. I really think the 4000 will help a ton outta the hole when on motor. Anyone got some input? And what series Yank would be to go with for using the spray.

If spraying in the future, I would keep your 3600 stall.
And yes a 4000 stall would be the right way to go if you're going all out motor.

vig 3200=yank 3600

The vigs are underrated.

btw I have a yank ss4000, its an awesome stall. And in town I see anywhere from 2300-2500rpm in stop and go traffic. Just make sure you have good tires cuz it hits hard!!

X2!!!!Tires are a must,i dropped 1.5 tenths and gained 1 mph over my previous 3500 stall, the yank hits hard as hell esp with 4.10s!And it will be good on a 150 shot too.

I called Yank and they recommended I get the SS4000 if I stay all motor but then I told them how I want to run nitrous so they said I would want to run the SS3600. Reason is nitrous boosts the shift extension up and the extension would be too close to where you shift if you were spraying with the SS4000. I vote stay with the 3600.

You do have a lt1!!!There are plenty of guys around here that have sprayed a ss4000 and done very well.Lt1"s dont need as much verter as us LS1 boyz.

you can do awesome spraying an SS4000 as long as you shift high enough. Doesnt matter whether LT1 or LS1, all depends on the shiftpoints, kinda worded it wrong meant to use I not you. I would have the SS4000 right now and be ready to spray it if I was shifting at 6600 or so instead of 6400.

did you pull any weight from the car? jw because 11.3 is pretty insane cam only.

6800 shift points here.I guess i also meant with a cam peakin so high in the upper rpm range a ss4000 would still be a good verter on the spray.Only weight takin out of the car was pass, backseat, spare,fr sway nothin too crazy.
