What is the raceweight of your car?

Can you post the details from your best slip?

I switched from a PI3600 to a TPE4400 and I picked up MPH.

I'm at 3340 raceweight.

1.66 60ft
89 mph 1/8 mile
11.81 et
114.25 mph
car is hitting the limiter between shifts. I know thats a problem. I'm working on that. The car is consistent with the 60's. Best 60ft is 1.66. worst is 1.69

I would wait on the swap if I were you, CHECK SIG, that 3600 is capable of more than 1.66 60'. The only problem with that converter is the efficiency (MPH). Also I just swapped converters from the 3600. I will have some times on my new converter this sunday. Wait till then and I will let you know the improvements if any. I would hate to see you spend $900 on a converter if you could just keep yours or spend less. What track are you running at? Know the DA of that run? Your race-weight is not bad at all though.

I have a vig 3600 and i have no efficiency problems, a manual lockup switch takes care of that. Also I have no problems 60fting the car either. I'd stick with the Vig

I picked up MPH too when going from a VIG to a Yank but once I added a LU switch it to my VIG it actually worked better than my Yank?

I never locked the Yank though so thats not a fair comparo but I will tell u the VIG3600 is capable of 1.45 60fts and is alittle tighter than my Yank was too,p no lu problems like I had with the Yank.

Without the LU the Yank one hands down...
But I'm gonna stick with my Vig until I make a change in the fall.I'm gonna try a TCS4400 98% (efficent) just to see how I fair with one of those babies.

U cant go wrong with any of these 3 verters...

what weather are you doing this in? Car weight?

I like the Yank better but your combo should be doing better unless you are running in bad DA weather or altitude.

without a doubt a vig3600 can pull 1.60's stock internal ATLEAST. Ive gone 1.58 on nittos with it and look at camarocain

With the cam ive pulled 1.55 best, and with the heads im looking for 1.49's on it with just 3.23's.

you have alot more in your car! The DA must be affecting your times or something? Spinning??

Weather has been bad. Car dosen't feel like it is spinning. I've had other people watch my luanches. Car pulls the left front about 4-6 inches. Tires dont' seem to be spinning.

I think you need to get some clean runs in without hitting the rev limiter, 89 in the 1/8th and 114 in 1/4 tells me that the car has much more ET in it. I went 11.7 with 112mph in a PI3600 unlocked and 114 locked with a 3.50 gear.

I purchased a pt4400(couldn't pass up the deal). I originally choose the vig 3600 so I could spray a 150 shot. I decided to set the car up for motor only. I should have an update in a couple of weeks.
