Question Fuddle converters?

im thinking about getting a performance series fuddle 3600 stall but i dont really know to much about stalls. i heard fuddle's are the most bang for the buck but just wondering what you guys think of them. my car is going to be not driven everyday but quite a bit and i go to the track once a month. do these converters lock up at a certain speed? how streetable are they? any info would greatly be appericiated! thanks guys!

Lockup is controlled by the PCM so if its a lockup converter it Lockup. That is assuming the clutch in the converter works correctly though. The fuddle 3400 I had was looser on the street than the Vig 3600 I have now.

yes i'm pretty sure it is. I would give them a call anyways and let them know what you have done to the car so they can match one up to the mods you have.

Yeah it is most likely going to be a lockup stall. Its the norm for all LS1 car stalls to be lockup unless its for a Pure Drag strip only setup.

You wont be disappointed. I haven't had mine in for too long, but that mod alone is by far one of the best investments I have done.

Funny how people see tons of threads and posts on people bashing a particular brand or company for reasons like failuers and yet they still buy it..........

All well, hope it works out for him.

I wonder how a Fuddle would do in my car, not even talking about it being behined the new motor I am building...

Yeah......... Ill stick with my Coan.........

I hear good things about Yank.

My buddy's Coan blew up and wrecked the trans in the process with about 1/2 season on it. Every manufacturer puts out the occasional crappy product.

Yep! But some put them out more then others, not pointing the finger at just one manufacturer either.
