Default Tranny temp prob?

The car shifts fine when cold put when it warms up it hesitates going into third. It acks like it releases 2nd but cannot apply 3rd. The tranny has a sy3500 stall, shift kit, beafed up clutches. Tq manage is also disabled. Thanks.

If it is doing that during regular driving around town (30 to 40 mph), you may have the same problem I had. This was one of the main reasons I got LS1Edit.

In LS1Edit, under Engine Diagnostic - Test Parameters tab - I changed all figures in the Low & Med RPM tables to 32762. The torque converter can cause false misfire and therefore it will not let the coverter lock or unlock right. This fixed it for me. It kind of felt like driving a manuel and shifting to a higher gear with it "bogging" out, if you know what I mean.

Later, Becky

I just got the car back and I think I my have it fixed. The tranny never went above 165* after 7 wot runs and it shifted fine everytime. It started raining so no more blasts. I guess the true results will have to wait till I can spray it. Thanks...

Hi chikn

We ran down at Greer about every Thursday & Saturday for the last 2 years. Haven't been down there yet this year. I have the red Firehawk.

We go down to Shadyside every now and then.

Beautiful car btw
