I went and made sure the connections were clean, and they lookedd pretty good. I made sure the plug was on very tight.
I take it out for another spin, and it shifts 1-2, 2-3, and just goes back to limp mode.
Im going to get it scaned again here sometime, but its weird? if i shut the car off itll shift 1-2, 2-3 and then go back into limp mode.

update?
Can some one tell me where the Pin E wire goes from the trans up to where? I do not think it goes to the VCM, E must get it's power from another place, it says circuit 1020, but I can not find where that is located or routed thru the car.

I also have a conversion, 97 Z28 with an 01LS1 engine/harness/A4

Knowing it comes from the fuse panel helps alot. And if you can post up what fuse location that might help.

So if C100G has 12v, it should be sending 12v to pin E?

yea i previously had it scanned and this was what cam up( i posted in the 1st page ):

P0118
P0740
P0753
P0758
P0785
P1860

The ONLY code that doesnt come up this time when i scanned it was P0740 and all i did was put ignition power to the C2 connector to the pinout F2 cause it wasnt getting 12v ignition power.

Anything else i could try out, or what else could not be getting power? I shows the same codes but the one (P0740: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit )
when i start it, itll shift quickly through 1-3 and stay in 3rd the rest of the ride??

From searching those codes on this website, it would appear that the wiring harness might be messed up, meaning you might need to trace each wire and find a problem, hopefully...
Have you verified getting 12v at Pin E on the trans plug, ie the issue I was having?

yea its getting power now, from when performabuilt asked me. Thats pinout F2 on C2 connector that controlls that. i think everything else is getting power but im not sure completely. There only a few pinout on that fuse block that goes to the tranny. And the wireing harness looks good, i dont see anything pinched, and its wrapped up in the black tubing, and seems fine

Heck i had better luck when i had a LT1 4l60e hooked up to it, but i never did get to actuall y get it out on the road cause i must of when i was installing it i cracked the bellhousing and it broke off. But i had the LT1 tranny and stall and the car had *****, but now its sluggish when i hooked up the LS1 stuff.

If i turn the car off and punch it, itll spin the tires alittle, and then shift quickly. But when i had the LT1 on it, the car was making continous "S" shapes in the road. lol
