Default 4l60e Tranny not shifting?? Stays in 3rd?

I recently did a 5.3 vortec swap in my e30 BMW. The tranny came from a LS1 camaro. Got everything in a go out for another spin but seems like the tranny stays in 3rd gear?

Its doesnt shift at all. i do have the green connector hooked up and the VSS sensor. Im using the stock 5.3vortec PCM.
Whats making it not shift??

3RD is limp mode you need to scan the PCM for codes , Probably and electrical fault

I wonder what could have made the PCM go bad? It came straight from a running truck.
Cause the pinouts on a vortec motor and the LS1s are the same, so that cant be the issue either? guess ill have to try my PCM in my buddies car or something?

Could the issue be because the tranny is from a 98 Z28? i havent checked the pinouts on both the Vortec wireing harness, and the LS1 harness, but i DO know that the LS1 and Vortec is the same pinouts, just some are extra, but was it different in 98??

Well im pretty sure the 98 LS1 is completely different PCM pinout then the rest of the 99+

5.3 Vortec
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps/869640-5-3-wiring-harness-wiring-diagrams-here.html

98 LS1

99+
http://www.ls2.com/boggs/torques/99pinpcm.htm

But i still need to figure out why its not shifting

well i finally got my obd2 port here, and i wired it in. Went to the nearest Auto parts store, and pulled the following codes....

P0118
P0740
P0753
P0758
P0785
P1860
I looked them all up and looks like of course most are all all tranny issues. So, now i gotta figure out what could be causeing it. GRR!
the P0118 is cause i dont have the sensor plugged in. I have an aftermarker gauge.

Back track through the harness till you find out why the power for this begins at the ignition switch then goes through the fuse box and then to the trans

Well i looked into it a bit more today, and i tested the back side of my whole fuse block, and there were a couple that were not getting 12v power, so i found a source that wasnt being used, and wired it up. started the car, and i could deffintly tell it was getting power then , cause it had more torque feeling when i put it in "D"

BUT.... i start to drive, and as soon as it shifts it goes into LIMP mode again?
Something is going on?? I wonder if there is any fluid were the green plug would plug in on the tranny? maybe its shorting out that way?
