Default Hitting the rev limiter

I have a 99 WS6 when I have it to the floor, in drive or shifting myself it bangs on the rev limiter and somtimes doesn't shift at all unless I let off it and get back in it again. When it does shift it is very sluggish then picks back up again. any help would be greatly appriciated.

whats a tipical rebuild on a 4l60e cost? Using good aftermarket parts, if nothing serious is wrong. What are some recommended upgrades for performance, other than a converter, I think that i am gonna go with a hughes converter or a vigilante.

The pricing varies quite a bit but be carefull as just putting in upgraded parts many times is not enough. Alot is in how the unit is built and the special ways things are set up differently than stock. You really should consider a built performance unit from us or one of the other sponsors here. I be leave that would be your best move overall. Please give me a call if I can be of any help

If the problems with the trans yes it should solve your problem and it likely will, Now on the 350 unless this is a drag only car I would not even consider it with gas prices like they are what little you will save if any on the 350 you will eat up in just a few weeks if you drive much in gas. likely though in all cases here mentioned these are trans issues with the number of miles mentioned

Tough decision since I dont know what im going to do when the lt1 goes. I can do the 350 now and it will be cheaper since I have one in the garage but it will be quite a while before I can drop 2g's on a tranny/converter.
