Installed yank PT4400
This covertor is loose. Much looser than my vig 3600 was. Shift extension's are about 5900 rpm. Even if I roll into the throttle the 275/50/15 nitto's start to spin. I'm also going from a 26/1150/15 ET Street to a 28/1050/15 ET Drag. I think my 3.90 gear was to much for my 26 inch tires. Hopping to go 1.5 60ft's. I should have an update in a week or so.

You are right the convertor is loose. If you ride around on the street you can put the car in D and it helps some on the looseness of the convertor. I have a Yank 4200 and I got used to the convertor. I have 4:10's and this works immensely with the convertor. Hard to hook at track on Nitto's but easily on slicks. However, I really like the convertor. Is your car stock? Good luck.

Re: Installed yank PT4400
I adjusted mine up through about 38% TPS. Over that I have more agressive downshifts, so it doesn't matter.
I'd start by adding 2 mph to the 1-2 upshift and 3 mph to the 2-3 upshift. I drive in D in town so the 3-4 is not much of an issue for me, but you might try adding between 3 and 5 mph to the 3-4. My goal in town is town is to hold second gear longer and then go into third and lock-up.
Try these and then experiment from there.

I ran with a TP4600 with 3.23's, now that's sick. Now I have 4.10's, much much better, especially since now there is effectively no 1st gear.
