Ordered my th400 w/ a brake and a converter for my camaro yesterday. After all the hype in this thread I can't wait to get it in and try it out . Thanks again Greg.

I got my TH400 with a brake and converter from Greg also. I just got the driveshaft ordered today, so hopefully next week I'll be on the road. Race Ya, lol.

I just got my TH400 4000 stall last week, so hopefully ill rock the streets in 2 weeks

The driveshaft just shipped today from the Driveshaftshop and should be here Monday. I work M, T, W, so I'm looking forward to picking it up on Thursday of next week. I'm going to go to the track on street tires Friday Night just to have some fun until I get better axles and stubs. The anticipation of getting it is killing me. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the initial setup and test drives.

Hi Greg, I'm not sure if you remember but I talked to you about a week ago about getting a stall for a 900+rwhp Centri (YSi) blown C5. I'm currently running the Vig 3200 5 disc but I'm a looking for a stall that doesn't "hit" has hard as the 2.53 STR Vig. One thing I think I forgot to ask was if I can lock up your stall at wot on the dyno or track.

It is not adviseable to lock it up at during wot as it is not needed. To make dyno pulls simply lock it up then stand on it.If the converter efficiency is good during coupling phase you should not need to lock it up at the track.We have tested them locked under full throttle and sprayed to go 10.30 @ 3400 lbs with no problem.

Just got off the phone with Greg@FTI today. They built a hell of a custome na/nitrous converter for me for a great price, and now are turning up the wick on my turbo build with a new custom built turbo converter. I can't wait to unleash it on the locals here that preach on a stump about their converters. I previously had one, and while i am not going into the build differences, the customer service from Greg@FTI has been spectacular. I know they build converters for guys going exponentially faster than I ever will, but I feel every bit as important as any other customer they have.

Thanks again guys, and I hope this converter gets me into the 9's!!!

Nice replies to your converters. It looks like most of the members who have replied are running in the 10's and wanting to be in the 9's. Is there anyone running in the 8 and low 9's with your converters? I'm looking for a great converter not just average. Thanks

Cliff good speaking w/you on the phone today. We have many customers in the 9's. We do not build your averge converter as the average converter builder wont go and test 15 converters at a private track rental like we did Fri. In which we had some pretty serious results. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and out run the average converter builders. We are racers building race converters not the average converter company.This is why we are rapidly becoming one of the premiere converter builders in the US.
