it would be cool if they offered it even if in limited #s; this makes for cool swaps like people do w/ 99/01/03-04 IRS. cobra irs in a fox is cool same w/ a buddy of mine has 03 cobra IRS on his 68 cougar.

if IRS is offered at some point it gives people options

Well to hell with all the Fan boy crap, I for one am going to park my 2005 Mustang GT (Mineral Grey)(Stock Motor/ stall running 12.2 @ 110) right next to my brand new 2010 Camaro SS (Cyber Grey)

So take that Fan gays.. I will have the best of both worlds....
Chevy Ford, who cares they are Muscle Cars and American....

Take what Ford rates it at and minus 50 hp and that's How it runs .....400hp = 350hp. That's the solution I've came up with after racing against and driving there cars/trucks. That's why they don't certify there hp ratings.

How does stock stall=3500 stall like your sig says? Either way good numbers.

I've found exactly the opposite to be true... the Mach 1s were rated at 305hp (just like the LS1 F-bodies), but ran from a dig like they had closer to 350hp (just like the LS1 F-bodies). 99-04 Mustang GTs have gone as low as 13.7s with only 260hp, and the '05+ GTs have gone low-mid 13s with a paltry 300-315hp.

The way I interpreted that was he has the stock motor, AND a stall. Which is my guess.

Only if you beat them to death out of the hole do they get a # like that. Look at the mph...that tells the tell. They have good gearing for dig races and not really enough power to spin that makes them leave hard then lay down once they it 3rd gear...... Then they get walked Examples of less than rated hp = 98/99 cobra's - all there new trucks and stock for stock f-bods running pretty damn close to 03/04cobras with 90 less hp. I seen a guy at the track in a new mustang w/slicks leavin so hard he pick up the left front.........all to run a 13.3 @101 w/other bolt-on. That's what f-bods ran stock except more mph...... Mine ran 107 bone stock.

I'm going to correct some things for you : 1. The '98 SVT Cobra's didn't have issues with it's power rating. 2. The '99 SVT Cobra did in fact come up short in case's and was recalled and corrected. 3. They have enough torque to spin there tires as you mentioned even with 3.27 gearing (GOOD GEARS FOR DIG RACES ???) . 4. 4V engines laying down in third gear ??? You really don't have a clue do you ??? 5. A car w/ slicks pulling the left tire off the ground and then running a low 13 sec. pass . (This might have happened , things can happen from the launch to the end of the run 1/4 mile etc.. (IE) traction issues, etc. I realize you obviously don't like Mustangs and that's your right to your opinion. .

Well, yes and no. My measly little 3v will light the tires up from a dig if I want it to. But, it can also hook like a sumbitch and launch harder than an LS1 F-body because of the steeper geared transmission and 3.55 rearend.

That's right a 4 valve engine lays down in third.... or at least don't pull like a ls motor and that's the comparo here. Yeah I have a clue ..... we race a 4v engine in the alms gt series. And I've walked a few them too..... in 3rd when i had the ls1 in it.
