I am not sure if you all have heard about it,but the 2011 Ford Mustang GT will be a 5.0 liter 32valve DOHC engine.Rumors are the new Mustang will also have 5.0 badging on the front fenders. Here is a link...http://www.motorauthority.com/mustan...-for-2011.html

It appears Ford didnt like the idea of their GT getting smoked by the SS.

It damn well better have the 5.0 badges on the fenders. Otherwise, things just wouldn't be right in the universe.
I was really worried that this engine wasn't going to see the light of day. Now I wonder how long it will stay in production, just like I wonder about the new Camaro.

According to GM,Camaro sales are exceeding expectations. After all,it is out-selling the 2010 Mustang so far.http://www.topspeed.com/cars/chevrol...aro/ke248.html

I agree, eventhough I like the styling of the new Camaro. If the new Mustang is going to be 400plus horsepower and stays in the 3500-3600lb area it should take the 2010 Camaro SS fairly easily. However, what does GM have in store for the 2011 Camaro?

i think its a step in the right direction but fords small cubes make them not so torquey, i also hate the 10' mustang styling, i think the previous 05-9 were much better looking..
At my bodyshop were putting stripes on 32 camaros for a local dealer, and ive done my share of Gts/cobra mustangs, and let me tell you the Camaros are badass, Id love a cyber grey SS and i think it looks much better then the mustang hands down in ever aspect. I would have loved to see a trans am of course but we all know pontiacs fate, but i bet gm will step up the power in the next years, hell even the v6s have 300hp 6 speeds! Id love to see a "ZL1" option with an even bigger motor...
