Damn, you guys are touchy. At times, posting in this section is like dealing w/ a bunch of whining women. Point was that for every BOSS purchased a Roush isn't. The Roush is the only other version that will handle like a BOSS. Personally, I don't give a **** either way, but, if it were my company & Ford built a version of a vehicle similar to what I was contracted to build for them, it wouldn't make me happy.

Cool, which cars? And I wasn't referring to the Corvette system that has the butterfly valves, I'm talking about re-stricter plates in the exhaust that can be removed when desired.

You seriously didn't just bring up an aftermarket tuner Bimmer to help you out with our little M3 vs Boss 302 debate....did you??? Are you sure you're not confusing this thread with another topic that you're currently arguing in?

Some of you ought to loosen up the bow-ties around your necks. I think they're cutting the circulation to your brains.

I believe this car will prove it's well worthy of the BOSS moniker.

What's the difference, you still get the desired result

Well, it can't do anything worse with it then the last couple variants of the BOSS namesake...

the lopey idle is cool although kinda fake being DOHC.. i dunno if i like it. What i wanna see is since this engine is rated at 440 horsepower how it compares to the base 5.0 in real world tests and dynos. Wonder if this will be anything like the corvette ls1 vs fbody ls1 rating. I mean in dyno tests the 5.0 does seem to dyno too high for traditional drivetrain loses for its hp rating.

That's because Ford underrated it.

Those other Bosses were aftermarket variants (and not worth the money IMO). The only real Bosses were the '69 and '70 Boss 302 and 429.....the '71 Boss 351......and this new '12 Boss 302.
