They had monitoring equipement in each vehicle. That is a very realistic time on street tires for the Z06. I've driven a couple of 2010 GTR's one with a few bolt-ons and one was stock, I can tell you for a fact from a dead stop a stock Z06 on street tires will get ***-raped.

In those air/track surface conditions with their drivers I suppose it is.
In my world though (ie: a real, legitimate drag strip with a skilled driver) it's still a 10.9 - 11.1 second car.
Agreed, on the street with average drivers (what some might call the 'real world') that is likely how it would go.

Don't forget perfect weather conditions like -1,000+ ft Density Altitude.

But by the same token, how many races (on the street) are from a dead dig for an exact 1/4 mile as well? Makes you think....
From a highway roll (which I personally don't care for but so many others seem to) that race would've been all 458.

being a nissan tech and working on the gtr's you just have to drive one to understand.
